Llewellyn Park is self-managed, and residents are encouraged to participate in the many organizations responsible for beautifying the park, organizing social events, preserving its history, and keeping it running smoothly.
The Committee of Managers is the governing body of the homeowners association which is responsible for the operations such as security, maintenance, and landscaping of the commonly owned property. The 9 members are elected from residents who have lived in the park at least five years. All homeowners are welcome to attend their monthly meetings and become familiar with how the park is managed and operates.
The mission of the Llewellyn Park Preservation Foundation is to preserve the integrity of the historic features of the park, including the Gate House, Ramble and historic walking trails.
The Preservation Foundation is responsible for educating the public about the unique history of Llewellyn Park, through films, lectures and other informational material. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Llewellyn Park has a long and rich history, which is archived by the in the Gatehouse. The Historical Society supervises these archives,organizes and expands them, and looks for opportunities to use the archives in projects to increase the public understanding of Llewellyn Park.
